So today, I tried out Bondi Sands latest, but first, cosmetic product to add to their collection. The Gold Glo Lights Liquid Highlighter.
As a fan of their tanning products, I was excited to hear they were launching a new cosmetic line and couldn’t wait to get my hands on one.
So, have Bondi Sands got the best liquid highlighter around?
Let’s put it to the test!
The packaging is brilliant and looks so professional! (Also looks great amongst my make-up collection!)
Bondi Sands sell this make-up highlighter in 3 colours. At first, I was a bit unsure on what shade to go for. My initial thoughts was Pearl may be a bit light as I wear bronzer daily to give my face a more skin kissed look. I was torn between Gold and Bronze not knowing which would be best but in the end I opted for Gold as I thought Bronze may be a little too dark.
Applying Bondi Sands Highlighter
I applied my make-up as per usual but including the highlighter on my cheek bones. The highlighter comes out the bottle just like liquid foundation would however when I applied it felt like it look quite a while to dry so rubbed it in a little more.
I only added a small amount a first as I didn’t know how much I would need but it couldn’t see it that much so added another layer. It gave my cheeks a nice subtle shimmer that caught the light nicely.
Wearing the highlighter out
I wore my Bondi Sands Glo Light Highlighter out on a day trip with my family that involved a lot of walking and playing in the park. I applied my Glo Lights around 9.30am and even when I looked in the mirror around 6pm, I could still see my shimmering cheeks.
So, in answer to my initial question, is Bondi Sands the best highlighter around?… I would definateley say it is up their in the top 5! I was so surprised how long it lasted on my skin, just need to make sure I put on enough!
This is definitely a product I will keep within my make-up routine and one to wear on a night out with friends which I will put it to the test again on my next outing!
